The first draft of Kris Longknife – Tenacious is done! In three weeks of writing over seven weeks, I put a bit over 110,000 words into that story. For those of you wondering about the big bad aliens, here’s your book. So, Defender is turned in for 2013 and Tenacious is in draft for 2014. Lots of good fun coming.
And Furious will show up in stores on Tuesday. Have fun, folks.
downloading Furious now yah
I have read Furious. It was a great read and I will be reading it again. There is so much I want to say but I dont want to spoil anything for other readers.
Bought the “Furious” audiobook yesterday and listen to the whole thing in one go. Good story and great cliffhanger…
Speaking of cliffhangers… Knowing that not only the next book – but also the book after that – is all done, but won’t be published for another year (or two!), is *really* rubbing salt in the wound…
Needless to say, I’m very much looking forward to the next installment.
Keep up the great work! (and please publish more often…
Furious was outstanding!
Read furious, one hell of ending…..
Can’t wait for the next one.
Koppe, You have to understand. My contract says I’m suppose to deliver a book every November 1. A few years back, I was struggling with illness and other things, and for two years or so, I didn’t finish the book until New Years. Literally. I’d be dragging the book to the send box the Sunday or Monday that New Years fell on so Ginjer would have the book there when she came back from holiday. She was very understanding, but, I was being a bad writer.
What you’re seeing is me getting my second wind. I am literally finishing the first draft of next years book before I have to deliver this years book. Now, I like that, and my editor likes that and it leaves me time to write the Vicky Peterwald book for the year and the first Iteeche war book for this year. Nice.
I can understand that this may frustrate you, but it’s kind of nice for this fellow who’s just qualified for Medicare (age 65 for you non-US reader.)
And yes, I know there are folks independently publishing and rushing the books out as soon as they can design a cover and get the book proofed. But if you can’t buy the e-book, the paperback costs $18.00 US and that’s a pain.
A book featuring Vicky Peterwald, I can’t wait.
